Seedling: mostly basal leaves with prominent midvein; triangular stem; glossy leaf surface
Mature Plant: erect growth habit; umbel inflorescence with many spikes; yellow colored
Method of Propagation: rhizomes, basal bulbs, tubers
Life Cycle: warm-season perennial
