Seedling: 10 to 20 leaves, broad stem
Mature Plant: fibrous roots from simple taproot; erect stem, lower part unbranched, densely villous; lower leaves alternate, simple, oblong to ovate, mostly green, wide white margins; solitary inflorescences in forks of branches; peduncles slender, glands cupped, yellow with red tinge, appendages white, capsule fruits, 3 rounded lobes
